recovering from a week of the stomach flu in our house. It was one bad week. Luckily Millie managed to make it through without getting sick while D and I took our turns being deathly ill with the stomach bug
reading The Forgotten Garden. I just finished One Thousand Gifts and can’t wait to review it on the blog, but you will have to wait as I am just now getting caught up on blogging. I am loving The Forgotten Garden so far, it is a Kate Morton book, I have read The House at Riverton as well, which I really enjoyed so I was pretty confident I would enjoy this one as well.
listening to Brandon Heath Blue Mountain. Such good music. Go check it out.
learning to balance life as a mom, teacher and wife. The stomach bug didn’t really help matters, but I am getting the hang of it. It isn’t as bad as I thought, but then again, you may have noticed I haven’t been around here that much, so maybe that is why.
enjoying Millie’s squeals and giggles. She has been all smiles this past weekend; loving on her mama and daddy and so very snuggly. It is seriously heart melting stuff here.
eating as healthy as possible (though I still have a bit of a weakness for sweets when I am at school). Ever since I started recovering from the stomach bug last week I have been so much more conscience of what I put into my body. I have a little to feed and I need to be giving her the best I can while also maintaining good health myself.
hoping to get back into running this week. My body is finally feeling ready to pick up the couch to 5K program again. Wish me luck!
