One of the blessing of living in New England is the February School vacation week. It is a nice break from the long cold months of winter around here. The down side is we are in school until the end of June, but we won’t think about that now. This school vacation week was especially special because it was my first one after going back to work. I enjoyed a nice week long break to spend time with Millie and do tons of cleaning. D was also home all week so it was really good to have 10 full days as a family together.
Highlights of the week

serious amounts of cleaning and organizing
early morning smiles from my baby girl
a trip to Ikea with my friend Kim and Millie
family outing to breakfast and the museum
date night with D to see Argo
huge yummy steak for dinner
freshly fallen snow to cover all the ugly snow that is left from a few weeks ago
She’s getting so big! I want to see Argo, especially now that it won Best Picture! Too cool.
The steaks look delicious and that is what we are having for dinner!
